:: Visuale Impressions - A Case Study
Foreword
Impressions is a abstractual web presentation styled to demonstrate the capabilities and also the theory behind effective multimedia and information design. A showcase that portrays the modern art of digital storytelling, the design for Impression descends from the core that is the Visuale identity and brand.
Design Concept
Vector elements are derived from spiral permutations of the visuale bloom logo. Fade transition are incorporated uniformly within Text where the layout is creatively applied within the familiarity of white space. Falling petals reinforce the floral aspects and create a spatial fluidity to the background.
Methodology
The design doctrine of simplicity, conformity and clarity is the primary concept within the composition. Vectored artwork developed around 3 as a common divisor provided 'roughs' which are the core assets for creative analysis. These allow for factoring of whitespace and colorspace ratio sets, the building blocks and backbone. The simulated depth cues using text transitions and background transformations aid to instill a sense of visual and spacial relationship in between sections. The result, seemingly an 'almost three dimensional' illusion of magnification without the complexities of 3D.
