:: Design Systems
The brain structures an image-centered radial graphic organization for learning, brainstorming, visual thinking and problem solving. Traditional outlines on information processing rely on the idea that a reader scans left to right and top to bottom; whilst what actually happens is that the brain will scan the entire page in a non-linear fashion.
Rich pictures, such as mind maps for example, developed around the idea of the semantic network; taking account the full range of left and right human cortical skills. The acknowledged concept of eye flow and patterns that designers and layout professionals have based their lifelong work on is just one part of this network.
Design Assets
Your digital assets; the logos, stock photography, icons and templates provide the pieces from which to assemble a content structure. How and where they are used are usually defined within a specification of rules. Balancing flexibility while maintaining brand compliance becomes the common goal.
With nearly a decade worth of experience in print, media and web. Our design systems elegantly balances the equation between aesthetics and information presentation. Every digital asset we work with are tagged with design metadata to build a framework that allow for an amazing number of permutations in the artwork, menu systems, and overlays. All of which can be combined and remixed to produce everything from layouts for print brochures to positionings for flash presentations.
