Prefuse - Rich data, Rich controls
Prefuse is a set of software tools for creating rich interactive data visualizations. From simple layouts such as graphs, trees, charts and grids, the prefuse toolkit can handle the shaping of large data sets (that are becoming more and more common) into meaningful visual patterns of information.
Our strong capabilities in using the toolkit enables us to offer inspiring visualizations that are manipulated by touch and gestures. This allows users to explore data more naturally scrolling, panning and zooming with nothing more than their hands and fingers. Effective visualizations of large data sets ensure great efficiency when it is to be simultaneously explored or manipulated by multiple users.
Visualizing Complexity
The Internet proved to be the beginning of a perpetual growth in data and information. Technology has responded with larger storage, bigger displays and even faster software. Yet we remain at the mercy of our limits; the humble constraints of the human brain.
We are all to familiar with working with more and more data. We may have automated lots and lots of processes and tasks, but eventually we find that we need to work with larger data structures, more complex networks and multi-combined data sets. Often enough it is very difficult to attach meaning to such mass. Complexity is often a characteristic of the very information we work with. Graphs, charts and diagrams have helped us since but such prepared data often requires a certain degree of work to gather and organize.

We visualize data in true light; representing associations, dependencies and relations in far more intuitive structures.
